To arrange and dispatch the recovery or roadside assistance service you have requested
To contact you with updates about your service request (ETA, driver details, etc.)
To send you a service confirmation or receipt where applicable
To improve our service through internal analysis of enquiry patterns (in anonymised form)

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. Your information is only shared in the following circumstances:

With our recovery operators and drivers — to enable them to reach you and provide the service
With your insurer — if you request us to liaise with your insurance company regarding accident recovery
Where required by law — if we are under a legal obligation to disclose information
With Google, our analytics provider — if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics processes information about how you use our website (such as pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, and clicks on our phone number, WhatsApp link and quote or contact forms) on our behalf as our data processor. If you reject analytics cookies, this information is not shared with Google.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined above. Typically:

Enquiry and service records are kept for 12 months after the service date
Call recordings are retained for 3 months
Financial records are retained for 7 years in compliance with UK tax law (HMRC requirements)

After the relevant retention period, your data is securely deleted or anonymised.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include:

7. Cookies

We use one essential session cookie to make our quote form work. It is not used for tracking and expires when you close your browser.

With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to measure visits and enquiries, such as clicks on our phone number and WhatsApp link and quote or contact form submissions. Its cookies (_ga and _ga_TS3YQDH3R6) are only set if you click "Accept all" in our cookie banner. If you click "Reject all", our analytics tags do not run and no analytics cookies are set. We use Google Analytics for analytics only.

Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. We have set it to redact email addresses, and personal details such as names, phone numbers, postcodes, addresses, vehicle registrations and form messages, from the page addresses it records. Detailed event data is kept for 2 months and data linked to a returning visitor for 14 months; the 14 months restart each time you visit again.

Your choice is saved in your browser for 12 months. You can change it at any time in our cookie settings, or by clearing this website's data in your browser. You can also block cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to use our service.

8. Your Rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018), you have the following rights:

Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

9. Third-Party Services

It also uses Google Tag Manager to manage our analytics tags and, only with your consent, Google Analytics, both provided by Google (see sections 4 and 7).
